Durham & England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been named in the ICC’S Test & ODI Teams of the Year for 2017.
The 26-year-old is in the Test side included for the second year in a row & is one of two Englishmen included, the other being pace bowler James Anderson.
He has also been recognised in the 50-over side for the first time after another stellar calendar year in white ball cricket.
Stokes racked up two Test centuries in the year, including a masterful 112 against South Africa at The Oval alongside his century against West Indies at Headingley, and also took 16 wickets aided by a career-best 6/22 vs the same opposition at Lord’s.
