The final of the Sanctus SPEEDSTAR Challenge will take place this Sunday 7 July at Emirates Durham ICG
With some regional heats cancelled due to the weather, a slot has been made available from 9.30-10.30am on Sunday before Durham Dynamos last Friends Life t20 group game against Lancashire.
The format of the challenge is for any fast bowlers in the four age categories (U15, 17, 19 & 23 ) to see how fast they can bowl in an over whilst under the speed camera.
The quickest bowlers from each age group will then compete in the final between 11-12 noon.
The winners of the challenge for each age will be awarded a SPEEDSTAR trophy along with a Durham CCC membership for 2013 and offered the opportunity to train alongside Durham’s Academy throughout the winter.
