Durham County Cricket Club can today confirm that the first three days of the 4th Investec Ashes Test at the Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground have sold out.
Thousands will witness sporting history when the pinnacle of cricketing rivalry comes to the North East in August. England take on Australia between August 9th and 13th.
This will be the first time the Emirates Durham ICG has hosted an Ashes Test match and Durham CCC Chief Executive David Harker is thrilled that thousands of people from all around the world have already secured their ticket to be part of history at Durham.
“The Investec Ashes is one of the most significant sporting events ever to be held in the North East so it is fantastic to see that we will have capacity crowds at our world class venue,” Harker said.
“The remaining tickets are expected to go quickly so we encourage those who are yet to purchase to do so to be part of this landmark event”.
