CUSTOMER INFORMATION SHEET

On Thursday 31st July Durham CCC will play a Royal London One Day Cup gainst Warwickshire CCC at South Northumberland Cricket Club in Gosforth, Newcastle.  The following information sheet is designed to give members and other spectators the relevant details about the fixture.

Match Details
50 over game
Start time:  10.30am
Interval:  2.00pm – 2.45pm
Scheduled finish: 6.15pm 

Ticketing arrangements
Members will obviously get free entry to the game using the relevant voucher in the membership book.

A limited number of tickets will be available to non-members and are available in advance from the Box Office at Durham CCC in person, by telephoning 0844 499 4466 or from the website HERE.  In advance tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £4 for children.

Any tickets that still remain will be sold on the gate at South North CC on the day.  On the day prices are £15 for adults and £5 for children.

Travel / Parking
The area around the ground at South North CC has limited parking available so we are encouraging spectators to look at other travel options for the game.

Public Transport

Metro

The ground at South North CC is within easy walking distance of South Gosforth Metro station and spectators are encouraged to use the Metro as a means of accessing the game.

Spectators travelling from the south can use the Park and Metro service from Heworth, and similarly those coming from the north could do the same from Kingston Park.

Bus
An extensive bus service operates with regular stops on Gosforth High Street, these are: 43, 44, 45, 46, X10, X11, X14 (Arriva)
X40, 40A (Go North East) 

Members Service
Durham CCC will be operating a special service from Emirates Durham ICG to South North CC on the day of the game.

Members will be able to park at the ground at Chester-le-Street free of charge and then get on a special bus which will then take spectators to the ground at South North.  The cost for a return trip is £4 per person and this must be booked in advance at the Box
Office in person, by ringing 0844 4994466 or on the website Here.  

Buses will leave the ground at the following times: 8am, 9am and 9.45am.The buses will leave from the Gate 6 area of the ground and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.  They will return immediately after the end of play, again buses will be loaded on a first come, first served basis.

For those members in possession of a Disabled parking permit for the ground at Chester-le-Street this service will be free, although again must be booked in advance via the Box Office.

Parking at South North CC

If spectators choose to park around the ground at South North CC they are reminded that they should follow local restrictions.

Access Gates
Spectators will be able to access the ground at two gates:
• Gate from the Park
• Gate on Moor Road
These will be manned by Durham CCC Box Office staff and stewards.

Alcohol
There will be no alcohol for sale to the general public on the day of the game.  As would be the case if the game was played at the Emirates Durham ICG members and other spectators are allowed to take their own alcohol with the equivalent of one bottle of wine or 4 cans of beer, lager, cider allowed per person.

Seating
There is no spectator seating at the ground except for a limited number of benches which would be available on a first come, first served basis.  Spectators are entiltled to bring there own seats for the day. A limited number of foldng seats will be able to purchase on the day priced £5. Should spectators wish to return these seats at the end of the game they will receive £2 back (paying £3 for hire).

Public catering & amenities
There will be public catering available at the ground.  Also due to the proximity of the ground to Gosforth High Street there will be the opportunity for members and spectators to leave the ground during the interval.

Provision for disabled spectators
A hard standing area will be set aside for disabled spectators adjacent to the main building.  This will have easy access to a disabled toilet.

Use of the park and local amenities at lunchtime
An easy pass out system will be available for members and spectators to leave the ground and take advantage of going onto Gosforth High Street or having a stroll in the adjacent park.

Prospects of play
The Club’s normal Prospects of Play line will be operating on the day of the game.  If there are any doubts on the weather on the day of the game members and other spectators can ring on 0844 499 4466 to check conditions.
