Enjoy cricket like it was the ‘Summer of 69’!
To mark the appearance of Bryan Adams later this summer, we are putting on a host of activities during the Worcestershire Rapids NatWest T20 Blast match next Thursday, 30 June.
Put on your Hawaiian shirts and pick up your summery cocktails – it’s time to embrace the summer time at Emirates Riverside!
Not just content with the excellent activities and cricket on offer, we are also giving away a number of prizes in competitions across the evening!
The star-studded prize of two platinum Bryan Adams tickets for his visit on Friday, 12 August are up for grabs for the best fancy dress on show.
Be creative, be distinctive, be different – impress us and it could well be you!
To get into the swing of summer, Austins Bar are serving a range of classic cocktails from an outdoor cocktail bar while the ice cream van has all your Mr Whippy needs covered as the temperature rises at the end of June.
With your show-stopping fancy dress outfits and cocktails in hand, you can then enjoy a brilliant karaoke bonanza – a first for us at Durham CCC!
We are taking karaoke to the masses with a Bryan Adams-themed sing-along on the big screen to be shown across the Emirates Riverside!
As always, we have a large selection of entertainment to keep the young ones entertained from when gates open two hours before play.
We have Kwik Cricket on the outfield, face painting will be available once again while Chester the Lion will be out and about with his fans.
The players receive an explosive, firework-lined entrance as the main event gets underway at 6:30pm.
At the halfway mark, there is a summer-themed kids race with a prize of two tickets to the Leicestershire Foxes NatWest T20 Blast match – our family fun day on Sunday, 10 July – as well as two mini bats.
Our usual ‘Fan of the Match’ prize is also back during the second innings as one Jets fan showing their colours will also get their hands on two Bryan Adams tickets for the Canadian superstar’s date in the North East.
And once the on-field action is complete, the players will return to the field and show their appreciation to fans with an autograph signing session.
