Northants Steelbacks are the visitors for the first of three consecutive Friday night fixtures under the lights at Emirates Riverside.
The Jets are hitting crunch time as they chase a quarter-final spot in the competition – and this fixture is never short of entertainment!
It has been two years since John Hastings lit up the Riverside with a 26-ball 80, the fastest T20 fifty in the club’s history, as he and Calum MacLeod completed an electrifying run chase.
Last year’s victory was similarly destructive – so can the Jets make it third time lucky?
The club are also welcoming Monkseaton Cricket Club as we engage with the next generation of cricket fans.
Monkseaton’s young cricketers will be invited to take part in the pre-game Kwik Cricket on the outfield before providing the Guard of Honour as the players enter the field alongside pitchside fireworks.
During the half time interval, there is a chance to get involved and win an extra special prize in our catching competition – a pair of Bryan Adams tickets will be yours if you can outdo your competitors!
The second innings will see our Fan of the Match selected once again, with a pair of hospitality tickets for next Friday’s showdown against the Lancashire Lightning up for grabs for one lucky fan who proudly shows their Jets colours.
