Durham’s Matthew Potts was named as Man of the Match as the North side won the England Development Programme Super 4s competition.
The pace bowler took 2/11 in a seven-over burst at the top of the innings as opponents South and West were dismissed for 179.
The run chase was curtailed because of the weather but the North won by virtue of finishing top of the group stages earlier in the week.
It is the third time in four years the North have won the Super 4s, presented inside Loughborough’s National Cricket Performance Centre due to the adverse weather outside.
The competition aims to bring together the best under-17 players from around the country, improving their technical and tactical skills.
