Enjoy a week of cricket at Emirates Riverside – for free!

Enjoy five consecutive days of cricket at Emirates Riverside this week – all for nothing!

From tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 September), three different fixtures are taking place across five days.

The Second XI Championship final kicks the action off tomorrow (10:30am start), followed by Friday evening’s Durham Under-19 T20 Final and finishing with Durham Academy’s North East Premier League fixture on Saturday.

First up is Neil Killeen’s side as they take on Middlesex in a four-day Championship finale, looking for revenge after losing to the same side at the Second XI T20 Finals Day earlier in the summer.

Killeen’s men reached the final by virtue of a thumping ten-wicket win over MCC Unis at South North CC, taking to their record to five wins with a draw and three defeats.

It is your chance to see the stars of tomorrow in action, with Middlesex’s Ryan Higgins also appearing after hitting an incredible 303* in a Second XI fixture last week.

After the 2nd XI’s match on Friday is a floodlit T20 Under-19 final between Hartlepool and Shotley Bridge, scheduled to start at 6:30pm.

Defending champions Shotley beat Whitburn to reach the final two once again while Hartlepool defeated Sedgefield.

And on Saturday, the Academy take on Stockton in the final round of NEPL fixtures for 2016 (11am start).

Entry is free of charge for all fixtures, with the Members’ Lounge open for the Second XI final.
