Durham CCC are delighted to announce that Friday’s coffee morning & cake baking competition raised £393 for Breast Cancer Now!
Members & staff donned their aprons to bake a selection of sweet & savoury snacks as part of the national #WearItPink campaign.
A packed competition table provided a high standard but Diane Patterson won the overall prize, while others donated a wide range of items for consumption.
A raffle, with prizes including a signed Keaton Jennings Championship stump & a print of Emirates Riverside, also proved a hit alongside other competitions.
All of the £393 has gone directly to Breast Cancer Now as they continue to fund impactful research which aims to stop breast cancer from taking lives.
The club would like to thank all members, supporters & staff for helping to raise money for such a worthy cause.
