Jon Lewis has named an unchanged 12-man squad to take on Northants Steelbacks in tomorrow’s Royal London One-Day Cup match at Emirates Riverside (11am start).
The head coach has found a settled formula early in this year’s One-Day Cup campaign & Durham are chasing a third win in four matches.
Each of the top three – Keaton Jennings, Stephen Cook & Michael Richardson – have each registered a century & two further half-centuries already in this year’s competition.
Jennings is the competition’s second-highest scorer with 302 runs while Richardson (283) & Cook (251) are also among the top seven.
James Weighell’s contribution of 12 wickets from his first three List A games also puts him top of the wicket-takers after four matches – and it already equals Durham’s highest wicket-taker from the entirety of last year’s One-Day Cup.
Another win would put Lewis’ men firmly in the hunt for a qualification berth for the quarter-finals but the Steelbacks come to Emirates Riverside in buoyant mood.
Captain Alex Wakely struck a ton as Northants chased down a club-record 325 with more than three overs to spare against Lancashire.
The actions starts at 11am at Emirates Riverside with tickets available to buy online, saving money against on-the-day prices.
