Layla Tipton’s stunning innings for Durham under-15s against Nottinghamshire in June made people sit up & take notice.
The 122-ball 156, which included 27x4s & 1×6, came in a stand of 180 with Hollie Forsyth & underlined her potential as one of the up-and-coming stars of Durham Girl’s setup.
Tipton has also featured for the Women & Girls Academy side this season, established earlier this year as the club provide opportunities for girls in cricket.
