One of the biggest tours of the Summer, Grandslam 2018, has launched a new limited General Admission ticket.
It’s over 20 years since Simple Minds & The Pretenders performed on the same stage & this year’s iconic Grandslam 2018 tour will see both bands come together for the first time since Live Aid, joined by very special guest KT Tunstall.
Jim Kerr, Simple Minds front-man, is already relishing the start of the tour: “We’re building up to a fantastic tour throughout August & September, & will be performing at a venue close to you. Hope we see everyone there.”
Chrissie Hynde said: “This tour has been a long time in the planning, & Jim & I are both looking forward to bringing all the hits to Grandslam.”
Representatives of promoters LHG Live & AEG Presents, who are committed to ensuring accessibility to all its concerts, have responded to fans with a new limited issue ticket, in a new standing area. Fans are now able to purchase one ticket for £25 or two for £45 for this specific area on a first come first served basis.
“We have some spectacular venues across the UK & have introduced a new GA ticketed area to appeal to everyone who would love to see these two iconic bands. This GA ticket has a limited capacity at all venues,” said Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE of LHG Live.
The new General Admission ticket is available from Ticketmaster, Simple Minds, The Pretenders & LHG Tickets.
Other categories remain on sale from the Durham CCC website.
