Welcome to the customer information for the Grandslam 2018 concert at Emirates Riverside on Sunday, 19 August.
Gates will open at 4pm on the day, subject to sound checks being completed.
The first act, K T Tunstall, is scheduled to be on stage at around 6pm & the concert is scheduled to finish around 10:30pm.

Getting to Emirates Riverside
By Bus
Go North East run a number of dedicated bus services that run through Chester-le-Street & stop outside the ground.

By Train
Normal train services will run in & out of Chester-le-Street. For times, please visit National Rail at www.nationalrail.co.uk.
The walk from the station is approximately one mile & the route is well signposted.
Car Parking
Spaces are available to purchase on the day at a cost of £10 per car.
Car parking will also be available to purchase on the evening. This is located in the car park across from the ground opposite to Bannatynes Gym.
Walking
Emirates Riverside is approximately 20 minutes from Chester-le-Street town centre & is well signposted.
Tickets
All ticket holders have been issued with wristbands which correspond to the relevant standing area. This is your ticket into the event & you will not be issued with a paper ticket.
All tickets are issued as standing tickets. However, there will be some seats available in the stadium bowl. These are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Some tickets will be available to purchase on the evening. For all ticketing queries on the day, please visit the Box Office at Gate Two from 30 minutes before gates open.
Entry on the day will be through Gate Two for general admission, with disabled access & hospitality entering through Gate One.
Conditions of Entry
- Bag searches are in place. No food or drink is permitted.
- Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult
- No alcohol, illegal substances or prohibited items
- No professional cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices
- Umbrellas permitted but must be down for the show
- No dogs, except guide dogs
- No folding chairs, blankets, gazebos or tents
