Another bumper crowd is expected for tonight’s (Aus 2) Vitality Blast fixture as Lancashire Lightning visit Emirates Riverside in what should be an exciting battle between the two sides.
Durham have enjoyed two home wins out of two this summer so far in the Vitality Blast, so another exciting contest will be on the cards tomorrow night.
Two of Australian’s most hard-hitting batsmen will be on show come 6:30pm, as it will be a battle between D’Arcy Short and Glenn Maxwell, two batsman who know T20 inside out.
After a busy week at work, why not call down to Emirates Riverside and see our big guns in action and see boundaries galore right here in Chester le Street.
In addition to the cricket, the Liontrust Family Zone will be in full swing from 4:30pm, offering a range of activities including, fielding and bowling cages plus the batting simulator.
Durham Cricket have already recorded their highest T20 attendance outside of the Yorkshire Vikings fixture, when Durham took on Northants Steelbacks in the season opener, and with Lancashire visiting a huge crowd will be watching here in Chester le Street.
While down watching Durham against Lancashire, why not grab a cold beer, while sitting in the sun as you get ready for your weekend to begin.
Kids will also have their chance to meet and greet with the Durham squad on conclusion of tomorrow’s fixture, so make sure your children and grandchildren have their autographs at the ready.
What more would you want for a Friday night, see you all tonight!
Tickets can be now purchased on the gate priced at £20 Adult and £5 Junior.
