Marcus North and James Franklin to present Durham Coach Awards

Durham Cricket’s Lead High Performance Coach James Franklin and Director of Cricket Marcus North will present Durham’s first Coach Awards.

The awards recognise the work and efforts of coaches across our county who make cricket happen by supporting and coaching the next generation of players within clubs.

The Coach Awards will reward the best coaches and clubs in four categories: Coach of the Year, Young Coach of the Year, Coaching Club of the Year and Outstanding Contribution.

The event will take place at Emirates Riverside on Tuesday, 24 September at the end of play on day two of Durham Cricket’s final Specsavers County Championship match against Glamorgan.

Coaches from clubs across Durham are invited to attend – to find out how to register get in touch with your Club’s Junior Coordinator.
