Durham Cricket Coaches Association have released their full Coach Education Programme for 2020.
The Coach Education Programme in Durham offers three types of courses, providing various opportunities to club volunteers to get qualified ahead of the season.
In the new year we will be running four Foundation I courses – England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) new coach qualification that has been created to help more people take their first steps into coaching cricket.
Following the introduction of Foundation I, this is now the entry level qualification required to coach cricket.
We will also be running ECB’s old Level 2 Coaching Young People and Adults’ Cricket course in February for the last time before the pathway changes completely next year and candidates for a Level 2 qualification are required to hold a Foundation I.
One Coach Support Worker course is also available in March 2020.
