Unchanged squad named for final home fixture against Leicestershire Foxes

Durham Cricket Lead High Performance Coach James Franklin has named an unchanged squad of 15 for Durham’s final home Vitality Blast game of the season against Leicestershire Foxes, tomorrow [Sunday] at 2pm.

Durham go into Sunday’s fixture on the back of a comprehensive 55 run victory over Derbyshire Falcons on Friday night, as Ben Raine smashed eight sixes to power Durham to their first win of the 2020 season.

Raine’s 123 partnership with Alex Lees had Durham in complete control of the North group clash and Durham will be hoping for more of the same against the Foxes on Sunday afternoon.

Durham will be going into the game on a positive note, looking to make it back to back wins in all competitions for the first time this season – however their opponents Leicestershire Foxes will also be in high spirits having enjoyed a last ball thriller over Yorkshire Vikings on Friday evening, chasing down 189.

Durham moved off the foot of the table on Friday night and now have 3 points, with the Foxes sitting in third place on 7 points, three points behind table toppers Notts Outlaws.

Squad vs Leicestershire Foxes (13 September, 2:00pm)

Nathan Rimmington (c), Alex Lees, Graham Clark, David Bedingham, Farhaan Behardien, Brydon Carse, Ben Raine, Gareth Harte, Paul Coughlin, Stuart Poynter, Oliver Gibson, Jack Campbell, Matthew Potts, Liam Trevaskis, Scott Steel
