Club Affiliation Update

Due to the challenging season we have had for both the recreational and professional game, Durham Cricket has taken the decision to grant a payment holiday to cricket clubs for Club Affiliation for the present season.

Payments that have been made to us for 2020 will be automatically transferred to Club Affiliation for 2021. Please note that we will not be issuing out refunds.

Clubs that have not affiliated in 2020 are not affected and should not look to make a payment now.

We will not be giving out signed cricket bats and due to spectator restrictions, we have not been able to issue out memberships or tickets.

Durham Cricket staff have worked tirelessly to support the club network through challenging and uncertain times. Our efforts were focused on communicating relevant funding streams and ensuring financial security, while updating clubs and leagues on the latest ECB and Government guidance each step of the way towards playing the game we love.

We were glad to see our cricket clubs access nearly £1million of funding aid during the coronavirus pandemic.

We pride ourselves in the way cricket recovered across Durham and thank our clubs, leagues and volunteers, who got the game on in a safe way.

We would like to thank ECB for the fantastic way in which they have led the game and ensured we can all see the return of our game this summer.

Our Club Affiliation for 2021 will be available from January and clubs that have not paid this year should affiliate next year.

Thank you for your tremendous support throughout this summer.
