Coach Development Programme 2021/2022

Durham Cricket and its Coaches Association are glad to share details for a number of Foundation I Coach courses for 2021/2022.

Six courses have been released, with the most recent ones taking place in September.

The Foundation I Coach course is suitable for anyone aged 17 and over wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire players and make a difference to the game.

A blend of e-learning and face-to-face modules led by ECB Coach Developers will explore what coaching looks like, the impact participants can have as an ECB Foundation I Coach, the skills Foundation I coaches can help players develop and how they can learn from their experiences.

The ECB Foundation II course is due to be released by ECB in the autumn. Durham Cricket and its Coaches Association will announce Foundation II dates in due course.

Foundation I (course 1): Tuesday 7 September, Tuesday 14 September, Tuesday 21 September and Tuesday 28 September – 6.00pm – 9.00pm – Emirates Riverside

Foundation I (course 2): Sunday 19 September and Sunday 26 September – 9.30am – 4.00pm – Chopwell Primary School

Foundation I (course 3): Monday 25 October and Tuesday 26 October – 9.30am – 4.00pm – Emirates Riverside

Foundation I (course 4): Sunday 14 November and Sunday 21 November – 9.30am – 4.00pm – Belmont Community School

Foundation I (course 5): Monday 21 February and Tuesday 22 February – 9.30am – 4.00pm – Emirates Riverside

Foundation I (course 6): Tuesday 3 May, Tuesday 10 May, Tuesday 17 May and Tuesday 24 May – 6.00pm – 9.00pm – Emirates Riverside
