Nominations Open: ECB Coach Awards 2021

Durham Cricket is inviting nominations to the 2021 ECB Coach Awards.

The awards recognise the work and efforts of those who make cricket happen by supporting and coaching the next generation of players and coaches.

After last year’s shortened season and the outstanding efforts of the coaching community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards are just a small way to say thank you to the many volunteer coaches who have and continue to support the game.

The winners of each category will receive two complimentary hospitality tickets to Durham’s Royal London home game against Hampshire and will be presented with their award on the pitch at half time.

Nominations can be submitted in four categories, including in the new “Outstanding Contribution – Services to Coaching” and Outstanding Contribution – Services to Coach Development”.

The categories for this year’s awards are:

  • Coach of the Year
  • Young Coach of the Year (aged 16-25)
  • Outstanding Contribution – Services to Coaching
  • Outstanding Contribution – Services to Coach Development

Nominations should be submitted before midnight on Thursday, 5 August and winners will be notified on Friday, 6 August.

Please take time to read through the criteria for each category in the link below.
