New 100-Ball Under-11 Competition Launched

Durham Cricket are launching a new 100-Ball Under-11 Competition taking place at Emirates Riverside tomorrow, Friday 27 August.

Following the success of The Hundred, Durham Cricket have organised the competition to give young aspiring cricketers the opportunity to play the 100-ball format at the home of Durham Cricket.

The competition will see four teams, featuring some of the most promising under-11 cricketers across Durham, play in a round robin format to determine the winning team in the inaugural event.

The competition involves players from this year’s Under-11 County Boys’ Development Squad, cricketers who took part in the Under-11 Youth Trust Trophy and players from the Under-11 County Girls’ Squad.

The competition will give another opportunity to under-11 players to impress and be considered for next year’s Under-12 County Squad.

The three games will start at 9.30am, 12.00pm and 3pm.
