Durham Cricket domestic fixture schedule confirmed for 2023 season

The England and Wales Cricket Board has today confirmed the 2023 fixtures for men’s county and women’s regional domestic competitions, with Durham traveling to Hove for their opening County Championship fixture of the season to take on Sussex.

The men’s domestic summer will begin on Thursday 6 April  with the opening round of the LV= Insurance County Championship.

As previously agreed, the 2023 LV= Insurance County Championship format is unchanged from 2022. Across Division One and Division Two, each county will play 14 fixtures with two teams relegated and two teams promoted.

Notts Outlaws will be Durham’s first opponents on home soil with a Bank Holiday Monday opener.

Members can experience three Friday night games under the lights, which includes our hotly anticipated derby day clash over Yorkshire Vikings on 23 June, with Derbyshire Falcons and Lancashire Lightning also in the North East for Friday night contests.
