Second XI fixtures confirmed for the 2023 season

Durham’s Second XI fixtures have been confirmed for the 2023 season, with fixtures announced in both the 2nd XI Championship and 2nd XI T20 Trophy, with five fixtures to be played at Seat Unique Riverside.

Preparations for the season will commence on Tuesday 28th March with a two-day friendly against Yorkshire at Headingley.

The 2nd XI then begin their Championship season away at Billericay where they take on Essex from Monday 9th April followed by a trip to Kibworth on Monday 1st May going up against Leicestershire.

The 2nd XI T20 Trophy will get underway in May, with all five games being played as double headers across May and June.

Durham will open their North group campaign against Leicestershire on Monday 15 May at Seat Unique Riverside, with the Yorkshire home T20 also being played at the home of Durham Cricket a week later on the 22nd May.

Ropery Lane will host the double header against Lancashire on Wednesday 31st May before rounding off the group stages at Belper against Derbyshire on Tuesday 6th June.

Three away Championship fixtures will be played against Lancashire, Yorkshire and Warwickshire before closing the season with two fixtures against Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

South Northumberland will host Derbyshire from Monday 11th September, with the season closer taking place at Seat Unique Riverside from Monday 18th September against Yorkshire.
