Ryan Campbell has named a 13-player squad for Durham’s Metro Bank one-day cup showcase fixture against Northumberland tomorrow at Jesmond.
The 50 over-warm up game gets underway at 11am and will give the Durham squad some white ball preparation ahead of Tuesday’s 50 over opener against Worcestershire Rapids.
With the Hundred getting under next week a number of regular senior players will be unavailable which includes Brydon Carse, Matthew Potts, Ollie Robinson, Bas de Leede (Northern Superchargers), Nathan Sowter (Oval Invincibles) and Ben Raine (Manchester Originals)
A number of Durham’s young talent will be on show throughout the tournament and that begins tomorrow, as Ben McKinney, Jonathan Bushnell, Stanley McAlindon, Ollie Gibson, Luke Robinson are all included in the 13-player squad.
Paul Coughlin returns to the fold having recovered from the side injury which reoccurred during the Vitality Blast and will make his return to white ball cricket for this tournament.
Tom Mackintosh is unavailable this weekend as he remains with the Scotland squad who have been in World Cup qualifying action over the past month.
