Crawshaw, Doneathy and Whitfield to depart Durham Cricket

Durham Cricket can announce that three members of the playing squad will depart the Club upon the expiry of their contracts.

Harry Crawshaw, Luke Doneathy and Ross Whitfield will leave the club following the following the conclusion of the 2023 season.

20-year-old Crawshaw made three senior appearances which all came in the T20 Blast during the 2021 season, making his senior debut against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.  

Doneathy played his part in 18 first team appearances, all of which were in white ball cricket. His career best of 69* came against Lancashire in the 2021 one-day cup campaign while he picked up a best of 4-36 in the same fixture at South Northumberland. During his time with the Club, he scored 212 runs and claimed 9 wickets.

Whitfield didn’t feature for first team, since signing a rookie deal and  predominantly featured in the second team.

All three players are Durham Cricket Academy graduates and represented England under-19s during their time at the Club.
