North East Warriors set for season opener against Yorkshire

North East Warriors get their season underway on Sunday when they take on local rivals Yorkshire at Seat Unique Riverside starting at 11am.

Sunday see’s the return of the ECB 50 over competition which after a hiatus for a number of years is back ahead of the 2024 season.

The Warriors are placed in group 1 and will take on Scotland, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Yorkshire throughout the season.

A 12-player squad is in contention to face the Tykes on Sunday which includes three new singings in Ella Drumm, Karin Dixon and Alice Eltringham.
