Durham U12s Super 4s Panthers and Rockets come out victorious before the rain stopped play.
Seat Unique Riverside hosted the 4 U12 Development teams in a day consisting of T20 games in clashes between the Rockets, Hawks, Infernos and Panthers.
The Panthers won a tightly contested game which led to them building up a score of 98/8 thanks to Oliver McGilvary with a knock of 31* from 37 balls before retiring not out.
But the Infernos fired back and just missed out, reaching 91/All Out. The Panthers roared to their first victory by 7 runs.
On the other side of the field, the Rockets blasted off with a 68/4 win, winning by 6 wickets. With Will Shields picking up 3-6.
Unfortunately, the British summer weather came in hard and fast and the second round of fixtures was promptly abandoned due to persistent rain.
