James Lowe

James Lowe returned to Durham in March 2025 as Men’s Academy and Pathway Coach.

Lowe spent 19 years at Durham Cricket as a player and a coach before moving to Yorkshire Cricket in 2022. Lowe worked at Headingley for three years, firstly as Academy Director before being promoted to Second XI Assistant Coach.

The 42-year-old now coaches across the boys’ performance pathway working with the development of crickets throughout the Durham age groups.

A former professional with Durham, Lowe scored 80 on his first-class debut against Hampshire and featured in nine first-class matches throughout his career.
