A product of the Northumberland and Durham pathways, Scott returns to Chester le Street having been part of the Durham Women’s academy.

Having made her professional debut in 2022, Scott has been a regular for the Northern Diamonds – which included an impressive 1-10 from 5 overs in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final win at Lord’s.

Born in Hexham, the right-arm seamer is closing in on 50 all-format wickets – which includes a best of 5-24.

The 20-year-old was part of the England squad for the inaugural Under 19s T20 World Cup in South Africa, playing twice, as England lost to India in the final.
