Crafty Needles

Whether you are just starting out or coming with a breath of experience, Crafty Needles is available for all no matter your experience. You can learn a new skill or enhance your experience whilst being welcomed into a friendly supportive group.

The sessions are simply about bringing like-minded individuals together as well as inspiring and encouraging creativeness, joy and relaxation through knitting, crochet, and crafting.

You can work on larger projects as a group or individual pieces to take home.

All materials and pieces of equipment are provided for you as well as refreshments to enjoy whilst you stich, knit and create.

Our sessions run every Monday 10:00am to 12:00pm at Seat Unique Riverside and are completely free to attend.

Embroidery Sessions

In our Embroidery sessions, you will learn about the basics of hand stitched decorative work, have a go at creating lovely pieces using an array of stitches as well as leading up to more complicated pieces like appliqué work.

Appliqué is a technique in which fabric patches are layered on a foundation fabric, then stitched in place by hand or machine with the raw edges turned under or covered with decorative stitching.

Our sessions are perfect for complete beginners or you can come along and enhance your experience if you already have some embroidery skills. In either case, you’ll be joining a supportive, friendly and social group.

The sessions run every Thursday 10:00am – 12:00pm and every Friday 12:30 – 2:30pm.

It’s free to attend and all materials are provided for you.

Glass Painting

In our Glass Painting sessions, you will learn to mix paints and execute various pattern techniques. Using up-cycled empty jars and bottles, participants will design beautiful pieces that they can take home for themselves.

The sessions are suitable for all levels, whether you’re wanting to learn something new or establish your glass painting skills even more, while meeting new people and joining a supportive group.

The sessions run every Friday 10.00am – 12.00pm at Seat Unique Riverside
