Durham Cricket Foundation host inaugural Sip & Sew

Durham Cricket Foundation Unveils Its First Sip & Sew Event

Grab a glass, unleash your creativity, and join the Durham Cricket Foundation for an evening of stitching, sipping, and socialising at their inaugural Sip & Sew event. Taking place at the stunning Seat Unique Riverside, this unique gathering puts a fresh twist on the classic “Sip & Paint” trend, inviting guests to bring their artistic flair and enjoy a one-of-a-kind sewing experience.

Set against the backdrop of Durham Cricket’s iconic pitch, the Sip & Sew event promises an afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and connection. Guests will have access to all necessary sewing materials and you will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco, so all that’s needed is a bit of imagination. The bar will be open, ensuring participants can enjoy a refreshing drink as they craft their own masterpieces.

“This event is an exciting opportunity to welcome our community into a new, creative experience here at Durham Cricket Foundation,” says Angela Sheridan, Community Inclusion Officer at the Foundation. “We’re looking forward to seeing what our guests create and sharing a memorable experience.”

All levels of experience are welcome—whether you’re a sewing novice or a seasoned stitcher, there’s a spot for you. Spaces are limited, so reserve your place today and get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, friendship, and crafting.
