It was a case of 50 up for Durham & England all-rounder Ben Stokes before play in the first Test against the Windies at Bridgetown, Barbados.
Stokes earned a special presentation from Durham legend Steve Harmison as he celebrated a half-century of Test caps for England.
Harmison reserved some special words of praise for the 27-year-old, who shared a dressing room with ‘Harmy’ for a few years before his retirement.
The former Durham man shares a funny anecdote about Stokes’ emergence & reveals the call he made to ex-England team mate Andrew Flintoff after his first appearance in the dressing room.
“There’s a kid in his manky underpants, picking his nose, he’s just bowled an hour with no socks and he’s hitting the ball like you would never believe.”
