A Message to all our Supporters from our Captain, Paul Collingwood
“I wanted to take the time to write to you as your newly appointed LV= County Championship Captain. Every member of our team is disappointed by what has proved a poor season to date. Whatever challenges the weather has brought, results have not been good enough and we’re not happy with that. Our current position hurts our professional pride and our pride in the County and loyal supporters we represent.
“There’s been a consistent message from Geoff Cook about what is expected from us all as players and now it’s time for us to deliver. We’re all in this together, the players are united in their determination to improve performances, and I will do everything I possibly can to help us achieve that.
“I believe we do have the people, the skills and the time to turn this season around.
“Your support, and the support of key sponsors such as Brewin Dolphin, really matters to us and your encouragement can make a real difference.
