This Saturday sees some of the world’s biggest hitting batsmen in action in the final of the 2013 KFC T20 Big Bash League!
After eight rounds of thrilling t20 cricket and two tense semi-finals it was the Brisbane Heat and the Perth Scorchers that qualified for the 2013 final.
Perth will be looking to win their first KFC T20 Big Bash League this year after ending the 2012 competition as runner up. Especially so as this years final takes place at Perth’s home ground, the WACA.
There will be a keen interest in the final from Durham with former batsmen Marcus North, Herschelle Gibbs, Simon Katich and Mike Hussey in action for the Scorchers.
The final will also give Durham fans the opportunity to see some of Australia’s big hitting t20 stars in action before they represent their country in international t20 action against England this summer at Emirates Durham ICG.
Both the Australia men and women will be live at Emirates Durham ICG on Saturday 31st August and this game will truly be one of the highlights of Durham 2013.
