Our final NatWest T20 Blast home fixture of 2017 is against Birmingham Bears on Sunday, 13 August & we’re celebrating the North East’s All Stars Cricketers on the day!
The initiative for 5-8 year old’s has been running across Durham, Northumberland & Cumbria over the summer & we’re bringing them together this Sunday as the curtain draws down on Twenty20 at Emirates Riverside this season.
As a celebration, we are welcoming All Stars into the ground free of charge with accompanying adults £10 on the day with the opportunity to complete sticker books & enter for a special prize!
Remaining stickers, including the last All Stars star needed to complete the book, will be available.
All finished books should be shown at either the programme stand or reception with an e-mail address, which puts you in with a chance of winning 2x tickets for England vs the West Indies at Emirates Riverside next month. The winner chosen via a Facebook Live draw next week.
Our concourse Family Zone will also see a welcome addition for one game only as special guests Diggerland come on board, providing activities from their theme park for the day, while the inflatable gladiator joust will be here for some extra competitive fun!
The Jets speed cage, batting simulator & fielding cage have proven a big hit with spectators at Emirates Riverside & will be back again, ensuring everyone can test all aspects of cricketing skills.
We’ll have fireworks, music & the chance to meet Chester the Lion all before the play and the players will be available for the post match signing session, the last chance of #Blast17 to get autographs & selfies are the final ball is bowled.
Tickets are available for this fixture, with adults £15 & juniors £5 in advance & adults £20 on the day. Remember, All Stars are admitted free of charge wearing All Stars kit, with accompanying adults £10 each.
