Australia batsman Cameron Bancroft has started to hit form in the early part of the season for Willetton in the Western Australia First Grade.
The 25-year-old made his highest score to date on Saturday, hitting 95 in the ongoing two-day fixture against Bayswater-Morley.
The right-hander was the bedrock of the innings, spending nearly five hours at the crease & facing over 200 balls as the rest of the side struggled around him.
They eventually made 174, with the opposition 24/1 in reply ahead of the second day.
It continued Bancroft’s increasingly good form through four games, with knocks of 44 & 51 in the two preceding 50-over fixtures.
Willetton lie third in the Western Australia First Grade.
