Durham captain Cameron Bancroft is in line to make his Durham first-class debut tomorrow as Sussex visit Emirates Riverside in the second Specsavers County Championship match of the season.
Bancroft arrived in the North East over the weekend & has spent this week preparing to make his first appearance for the Club.
The 26-year-old comes in to strengthen the batting line-up alongside Cameron Steel, who returns to the 13-man squad after recovering from concussion picked up in pre-season.
Wicketkeeper Ned Eckersley is also in line to make his Durham first-class debut with Stuart Poynter omitted, while right-arm Academy pace bowler Oliver Gibson is included in the squad for the first team after impressing in pre-season & with the Second XI in Essex this week.
Graham Clark also returns to the 13 after his century down at Chelmsford on Monday.
