The Dynamos passed the hundred mark mid way through the innings and the pair continued to build on their structured partnership, which included smashing a few sixes into the stands, with both Stokes and Muchall passing fifty, the fifth out of six innings for the latter, having faced just 50 and 58 balls respectively.
Muchall was caught by Clarke off Maddy for 65 with the Dynamos total at 186-3 in the 31st over. Stokes went on to score his maiden one day century from just 88 deliveries, hitting seven boundaries and three maximums.
Benkenstein and Stokes took advantage of the batting powerplay in the later stages of the innings, placing the ball well and boosting the Dynamos total by 51.
The nineteen year old continued to stun the Bears attack hitting them for six all around the ground. And went on to score a record 150 from just 113 balls which included nine boundaries and seven sixes.
The pair put on over 100 in the final nine overs and by the end of the innings Durham has posted 286-3 with Stokes 150* and Benkenstein 42*.
The Bears got off to a pretty rapid start and had reached fifty within six overs.
The bowling powerplay and a change of end for Claydon saw Porterfield eventually dismissed, caught by Breese on 80 with Warwickshire 144-1 in the 18th over.
Claydon claimed the scalp of Porterfield, who was caught by debutant Ben Raine for just one, the following over.
Warwickshire were 179-3 in the 24th over after Gareth Breese trapped a disgruntled Chopra lbw on 83. With thirteen overs remaining the hosts required 92 off 78 balls.
The Durham attack couldn’t make any further inroads with Yousaf and Maddy taking full advantage of their batting powerplay, the former reaching his fifty, pushing the hosts to 266-3 with five overs remaining.
Warwickshire claimed the win by seven wickets with 21 balls to spare, Yousaf hitting a boundary to score the winning runs, having been well supported by Maddy (44*), and taking his score up to 74*
