Durham CCC Foundation have a limited number of spaces left to run in this year’s Great North Run!
Join our supporters & Club staff in taking on the 13.1 mile challenge from Newcastle to South Shields on Sunday, 9 September & help raise money to support the work of the Foundation.
There is a minimum fundraising target of £200, which will go towards supporting the Foundation’s projects across the region.
Former Durham player Keaton Jennings & Academy manager John Windows were among the runners who completed it for the charity last year.
Foundation Manager, Josie Pointon, said: “Last year was the first time we had entrants into the Great North Run & it was a great success.
“The Club staff were supportive & proudly wore the DCCC Foundation running vests around the course, which was great for awareness. Thanks to the generosity of many of the Durham members, we were able to raise lots of money which we’ve put to good use in our projects.
“We would love to welcome some new runners on board & join the team for the 2018 Great North Run – which may even include a lion this year!”
