Ben Stokes shortlisted for Natwest PCA Players’ Player of the Year

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce that Ben Stokes has been shortlisted for the prestigious Natwest PCA Players’ Player of the Year.

The all-rounder has had a phenomenal summer helping England to win the 2019 Cricket World Cup and providing one of the most memorable Ashes knocks in recent history – an unbeaten 135 to secure victory in the 3rd Test.

The 28-year-old is no stranger to picking up PCA awards, in 2013 Ben won the PCA Young Player of the Year award.

Stokes could follow in the footsteps of Ottis Gibson (2007) and Chris Rushworth (2015) if he wins the award.

The full story can be found on the PCA Website.
