Chester-le-Street Cricket Club (CC), in a strategic move to preserve and expand its 34-year-old fireworks tradition, has partnered with Durham Cricket. This collaboration will relocate the annual November fireworks event to Seat Unique Riverside, enabling a significant increase in attendance capacity, improved accessibility, and a commitment to never having to cancel or reschedule due to weather. The partnership marks a new era for the event, setting the stage to become the premier fireworks display in the Northeast.
Chester-le-Street CC, in a historic partnership with Durham Cricket, is excited to announce the relocation of its annual fireworks event to Seat Unique Riverside. This new venue will address past challenges by providing a more robust, accessible, and larger space capable of welcoming over 10,000 attendees, up from a maximum of 6,000 in previous years.
