Comprehensive Win for Durham

Needing just the three wickets on the final day to seal victory it took Durham just 13 minutes to claim the points.

Ben Stokes got his 3rd wicket on the second ball of the day dismissing Clare who edged through to Phil Mustard for 2.

It was the birthday boy Chris Rushworth who then got the next wicket with Mustard again involved in the dismissal of Groenewald for 7.   This took Mustard’s catches to 8 for the match.

The wicket also brought Rushworth’s 10th match wicket, the first time he had claimed a 10 wicket haul, a great birthday present for the 27-year old.
