Durham Cricket can announce the loan signing of Warwickshire seamer Craig Miles for the next two LV=Insurance County Championship fixtures.
With Matthew Potts named in the England squad for the opening stages of the Ashes and Brydon Carse, Paul Coughlin and Ollie Gibson still side-lined, the club have brought in Miles for red ball fixtures against Glamorgan and Leicestershire.
With 96 first-class games to his name, Miles is proven in English first-class cricket where has claimed 334 wickets with a best of 6/63 against Northamptonshire, including a career best match haul of 10/121 against Lancashire.
The right-arm seamer made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire aged 16 taking 255 wickets before making the move to Warwickshire in 2018.
Since his move to Edgbaston, he has helped the Bears win the County Championship and Bob Willis Trophy – where he picked up 37 wickets in a trophy winning 2021 season.
He is also a more than useful lower order batter having scored 1727 first-class runs with a best of 62*.
