Day 3
Closing day 3 on 88/0, Nottinghamshire went hard as they looked to build a lead over Durham with Ben Martindale and Dane Schadendorf sharing an opening stand of 130.
Martindale was the first to fall when he was trapped lbw for 45, however 93 for the second wicket continued to build the Nottinghamshire lead.
Schadendorf departed for a superb 102 backed by 138 from Calvin Harrison as the partnerships kept coming for the home side.
Tom Loten added 79 from 159 with 10 four, with Nottinghamshire delcaring on 445/5 setting Durham 403 to win.
Jamie Cairns picked up 3/106 while Sebastian Allison and Oliver Sutton bagged one apiece.
In reply Durham had 16 overs to face as they closed on 78/0 with Ben McKinney (43) and Jamie Crawley (33) unbeaten.
Day 2
88 from Luke Doneathy and 71 from Haydon Mustard helped Durham recover against Nottinghamshire.
With Durham batting on day 2 having dismissed Nottinghamshire in the final over of day 1, the visitors put on 38 for the first wicket, when Jamie Crawley was caught in the slips for 9.
Ben McKinney, fresh from England under 19s duty, hit 9 fours before being caught behind just shy of his 50 on 47.
Durham were in a slight bit of trouble at 145/6, but an 101 run partnership for the 7th wicket in 87 balls from Luke Doneathy and Haydon Mustard helped Durham to 255/7, with the visitors eventually being dismissed for 294 and leading by 41.
Nottinghamshire in reply went to the close on 88/0 and lead by 47 going into day 3.
Day 1
Durham Seconds made good use of the conditions at Lady Bay against Nottinghamshire in their final Championship match of the season, as the home were dismissed for 253.
Nottinghamshire got off to a positive start in the morning session posting 70 before their first wicket fell when Olivet Sutton dismissed Ben Martindale thanks to a low diving catch from Haydon Mustard.
One brought two Mitchell Killeen had Schadendorf caught behind for 37.
A 57-run partnership took Notts to 137/3 but Sam King didn’t move his feet and Luke Doneathy clean bowled his middle stump, as he went for 34.
Notts lost 3 wickets for 13 runs thanks to Sebastian Allison and Luke Doneathy whe rain took the players off with Nottinghamshire 157/5.
Having left the field at 15:41, Durham returned at 20 past 5 and Sebastian Allison struck second over of the resumption as Travis Holland feathered one behind to Haydon Mustard who claimed his 4th catch behind the stumps.
Doneathy then had his third the next over as Loten was again caught behind for 8, another behind the sticks for Haydon Mustard.
Mitchell Killen bagged two in two balls before Fateh Singh was stumped for 76 to give Jamie Cairns his first wicket, with Nottinghamshire being bowled out for 253 in 60.3 overs.
