Durham CCC travel to New Road to take on Worcestershire in the LV= County Championship this week and Head Coach Geoff Cook has named a thirteen man squad for the fixture.
Stephen Harmison is set to return to the four day set up having recovered from fracturing his forearm in the opening game of the season against Hampshire at The Rose Bowl.
After being rested from this weekend’s Clydesdale Bank 40 fixtures, Michael Di Venuto (leg) and Ian Blackwell (back) are included having overcome their respective niggles.
Ruel Brathwaite is selected in favour of Mitchell Claydon and Gareth Breese travels as a third spin option. Durham Academy product, Sunderland born Ben Raine, 19 (LHB, RMF) makes up the thirteen man squad and if selected would be making his first class debut.
