Durham Cricket ACO scorers courses confirmed for spring 2024

Durham Cricket ACO can now confirm its scorers’ courses for the 2024 winter training programme.

Both paper based and electronic scoring courses will be available with all courses part of the official ECB ACO portfolio and held at Seat Unique Riverside, the home of Durham Cricket.

Durham ACO will hold a Club Scorer course, Play Cricket Scorer and Play Cricket Scorer Pro course in the spring, and further information and how to book can be found below.

Club Scorer Course 17th & 24th March

The course for anyone wanting scoring on a regular basis and is the only one to comprehensively teach you how to score. This course is suitable for complete beginners and existing scorers who want to fine tune their skills.

Introduction to Play Cricket Scorer – 25th March 

This evening session will be an introduction to those scorers who use a phone or tablet to score. This will take you through the basics of play cricket, account sign up, functions of the app and how to make amends. A practical game will be scored and candidates will need to bring their device with the app downloaded on the evening.

 

Play Cricket Scorer Pro – Sunday 7th April 

This module teaches existing scorers how to use Play-Cricket Scorer Pro software package. To attend this module, you will need to download Play-Cricket Scorer Pro and bring your own laptop along. The course is a hands-on practical workshop covering setting up and scoring a match, editing entries, printing, importing/exporting and uploading results to the Play-Cricket.com.
