Durham Cricket Foundation is running an Easter coffee morning at Seat Unique Riverside on Thursday, 13th April (between 10am and 1pm).
This free event is open to everyone and is offering a fantastic opportunity for the local community to connect with the Foundation and learn more about its ongoing initiatives.
Held at the home of Durham Cricket during the club’s first home County Championship game, the coffee morning will create a welcoming, social and friendly space at the ground for its local community to meet and spend valuable time together.
One of the event’s highlights is an exhibition showcasing the best work of participants from across the Foundation’s projects.
Chosen by the participants themselves, the display will provide the background and reasons for which they chose the pieces exhibited, with overview look at the impact these initiatives have on the lives of individuals.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with some of the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s projects, learning first-hand about their experiences.
Durham Cricket Foundation staff will be on hand to share information about the various projects and initiatives we already run and how to get involved.
The Foundation’s aims to improve older people’s physical and mental wellbeing, reduce social isolation and combat loneliness in adults and this event is a great way to find out more about how we do this and get involved.
If you would like to attend, please register below – this will ensure we can arrange free entry to the ground, with the event taking place during Durham Cricket’s County Championship fixture.
The coffee morning takes place at the Graveney Suite at Seat Unique Riverside on Thursday, 13th April between 10am and 1pm.
