Durham Cricket is excited to announce our Hall of Fame returns in 2024 as we honour and celebrate players and officials.
Following our launch in 2023, Durham Cricket will hold a yearly Hall of Fame event as we induct a number of former Durham Cricket players and officials annually.
An exclusive dinner, to celebrate another set of inductees into the Durham Cricket Hall of Fame, will be held on Wednesday 27 March at 7pm in the Geoff Cook Suite at Seat Unique Riverside.
Inductees will receive a special Durham Cricket Hall of Fame cap, while a commemorative programme will be produced each year to recognise the inductees.
A selection committee including Durham Chairman Ian Botham have selected the 2024 inductees following a strict criteria which included making a significant contribution to Durham Cricket while former players must have been retired for at least 5 years.
Each year those honoured will have their name displayed in a special area of the ground, as we look to develop the proud history and tradition we have with the club.
Richard Dowson, Chief Operating Officer said: “We are delighted to announce details of our 2024 Hall of Fame event as we celebrate the fantastic achievements of former Durham Cricket players and officials and pay heritage to the successful times Durham Cricket have had.
“An exciting night awaits in March as we look forward to inducting our class of 2024 and building on this event each year.”
Members will have the opportunity to attend by purchasing tickets priced at £55, which includes a three-course meal and a welcome drink. To enquire and to book your place please email stephanie.pattinson@durhamcricket.co.uk
