Durham Cricket partner with Hays Travel

Durham Cricket is thrilled to announce a partnership with North East travel agent Hays Travel.

The agreement, which will initially run throughout the remainder of the season, will see the UK’s largest independent travel agent become a Club partner.

The Sunderland based travel company will become sponsor of Durham’s popular family stand with branding displayed around the perimeter.

In addition to their family stand branding, Hays Travel will give away a holiday as Durham host England v Australia in next week’s One Day International at Seat Unique Riverside.

Hays Travel is the UK’s largest independent travel agent, offering excellent service, value and choice in short haul, long haul, and cruise holidays. Founded in the North East over 40 years ago, Hays Travel now has almost 500 branches across the United Kingdom and – thanks to public vote – won three gold British Travel Awards 2023: Best National Travel Retailer, Best Travel Agency for Cruise Holidays, and Best Retailer for Forex/Travel Money.

As a family-owned independent agency, what sets Hays Travel apart is its friendly and professional colleagues and the value it places on its people, customers, and the communities where it operates.

David McNiven, Hays Travel Head of Marketing, said: “Hays Travel is committed to working with the communities where we operate, and we are proud to be headquartered in the North East – making our partnership with Durham Cricket Club a great fit. We look forward to exploring the opportunities this exciting new partnership presents.”

Tom Seymour, Commercial Director at Durham Cricket said: “We are thrilled to announce this partnership with Hays Travel.

“Hays Travel is a hugely successful North East company and renowned nationally for its exceptional levels of service in the travel industry.

“I look forward to working with Hays Travel and building on this exciting partnership.”
