Durham Cricket were last night awarded Communications Campaign of the Year at the Business of Cricket Awards (BOCAs) which was staged at Emirates Old Trafford the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The Communications Campaign of the Year award saw Durham rewarded for its clear communication strategy to fans after it’s England Men’s international against Sri Lanka last summer was selected to be a part of the Government’s Event Research programme to safely welcome spectators back to major events.
David Jackson Marketing Director said: “We are delighted to be recognised for our communication during a tough period.
“COVID-19 presented a lot of challenges and operating with a small team we had to manage our way through and communicate ongoing changes to major events.
“This award acknowledges the excellent work by the full team at Durham Cricket.”
